Netbit supplies one of the most robust and state of the art down the hole hammers. Our hammers have been tested in some of the world’s toughest formations and have shown some significant results. Our latest test was done on our NET-DMS6.5 QL60 MH577 at Assmang’s Khumani Mine, and it managed to drill up to 9 200m on ore without being serviced. This particular hammer was modified for the tough iron ore formation found in the Northern Cape South Africa.
Netbit also stocks 8 Inch hammers for drilling larger diameter holes. Some of our hammers are working on Catoca in Angola, as well as other sites in Africa. These hammers are also as robust as our 6 Inch hammers, and they are manufactured and modified to customer specifications.
Some come with three blow holes, and some with two, convex or concave face, and button sizes range from 16mm to 22mm.
Our DTH bits also come in different face shapes and can either be FLAT FACE, CONVEX or CONCAVE depending on the type of formation to be drilled. The angle and size of the bit buttons are also important as this is also dependent on the
the formation being drilled.
